Replacing wiper blades. Sometimes it can be tricky to replace wiper blades especially on a truck.  Often times it’s easy to clip the new ones on yet for some reason it can be difficult to remove the old ones first.

I have found that it can be easier to simply remove the wiper arm assembly to gain better access to the wiper blade(s).

All you need to do is release the retaining clip then pull the arm off the spline.  Replacing your blades are then made easier.  Then simply reinstall the arm back onto the spline.

Replacing wiper blades

It’s recommended to replace your wiper blades twice to once a year.  This will depend on your climate and whether you garage your vehicle.  I’ve gone as long as five or six years on a pair of wiper blades with vehicles that are garaged.   However, when you notice the wiper blades losing their efficiency to clean your windscreen it’s time to look into replacing them.
